| Darkot Pass |
|
To start our journey from Islamabad the capital of Pakistan by a mini bus up Gilgit. Traveling on Karakoram Highway is a memorable event. Before heading to Yasin Valley we have excursion to Hunza Valley (which is well known as the valley of eternal youth). It has a lot to attract hearts of tourist from all over the world. People of Hunza are very friendly. After short stay in Hunza our next destination would Yasin another valley where Broshaski Language is spoken. From Gilgit we turn north towards historic Darkot Pass. This pass was used by Korean General Ko Chen-Chi who came to Gilgit with Chinese Army from Central Asian States. After Darkot we will walk for a few days along the Wakhan corridor with excursions of Broghil Pass on the Afghan border. Then we will enter Chitral, two days in Chitral with excursion of Kalash valley. From Chitral we will enter Swat valley. The trip will end in Islamabad the capital of Pakistan. As our jeeps take us deep into valleys, we even leave the jeeps to walk through the mountains to feel their grandeur.
